======4x4 Evolution====== Loosely based on a highly modified version of [[Monster Truck Madness 2]]'s game engine. It was released on both PC/console platforms of the era. It featured a career mode that drew many parallels, to Gran Turismo and online multiplayer. What made it stand apart from other games is that all game data was stored in plain text, and game modification was directly supported by [[Terminal Reality]] with release of a track editor. This game provides one of the earliest examples of cross-platform support and in-game track downloads. Leading to the creation of a large mod community at [[Vales.com]] producing thousands of tracks, and vehicles. =====Console Versions===== [[4x4 Evolution - Dreamcast]]\\ [[4x4 Evolution - PS 2]]\\ =====Downloads===== ====PC Recommended==== [[4x4 Evolution - Build 58]] (Widescreen/QoL Fixes)\\ [[4x4 Evolution - TRIHook]] (DLL Hook, original exe)\\ ====Mac Recommended==== [[4x4 Evolution - Macintosh]]\\ ====Other Versions==== [[4x4 Evolution - Build 61]] (Patch Only)\\ [[4x4 Evolution - Build 57 Mod 2]] (Game)\\ [[4x4 Evolution - Build 57]] (Patch Only)\\ [[4x4 Evolution - Build 56]] (Patch Only)\\ [[4x4 Evolution - Build 44]] (Game)\\ ====Demo Versions==== [[4x4 Evo Demo - Build 47]]\\ [[4x4 Evo Demo - Beta Build 5]]\\
