Feb 22, 2022 - Not 4x4Evo Related: Sound fix for A-10Cuba!
Not an update anyone browsing here would expect to see, but with certain recent games coming out some interest has been noted with A-10 Cuba!, but it's lack of 32-bit installer, and additionally without it's registry entries the games sound won't work. The game uses a very interesting workaround to implement sounds, by adding entries for Windows interface sounds. I have no idea why it would have been done this way, as this is one of the earliest DirectX supported games. This should work with all versions of A-10 Cuba! for Win9x so you can play it on Windows Vista and up!
Mar 1, 2021 - Track Query returns!
For the first time in decades, the in-game track query works once more. This was made possible thanks to Tonka and RealFreaky, huge shoutout to them for fixing this long broken function!
Also huge thanks again to Tonka for keeping 4x4Evo's multiplayer working, as downtime has been much longer than expected.
This also spilled over to screenshot contests as well which will resume in April. Congrats to Lanky Lifeguard for their winning submission!
Jan 11, 2021 - Potential downtime ahead
Expect some potential downtime online, over the next two weeks as we move the master server to a new location. If you have a patched version, it may still work online thanks to the efforts of the folks at Dreamcast-talk.com for keeping a chat sever up and running.

May 18, 2020 - Old site officially down

May 5, 2020 - New site goes live
Welcome to the new home of everything 4x4 Evolution related!
Apr 23, 2020 - A new beginning
Soon this will become the new home for all things 4x4 Evo related. The cost of maintaining the requirements to keep 4x4evolution.com up and running continue to add up over the past few years. What does this mean?
Unpatched versions of 4x4 Evolution on the PC & DC will cease to be playable online, this will make it harder for anyone that doesn't know where we are to find us.
In-game downloads from here will cease to function. This impacts primarily DC players, as files can't be added manually.
